Responsibilities
Handle customer inquiries and provide advice on parts and accessories.
Sell parts to retail customers and support the service department with parts requirements.
Identify correct parts using catalogs, inventory systems, and manuals.
Prepare quotations and invoices for parts and accessories.
Maintain stock levels, conduct inventory checks, and coordinate restocking.
Follow up with customers regarding parts orders and delivery timelines.
Maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Build long-term customer relationships and respond to aftersales queries.
Coordinate with the procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability.
Educational requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
Experience requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in parts sales (automotive/heavy equipment/industrial preferred).
Additional requirements
Familiarity with parts inventory management systems and electronic parts catalogs.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
