Responsibilities

Install, inspect, and test equipment and systems as per specifications.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and tools.

Troubleshoot technical problems and resolve issues promptly.

Document all maintenance and repair work performed.

 Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Assist in diagnosing faults using manuals, technical documents, or diagnostic tools.

Report any major faults or breakdowns to supervisors immediately.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Support other departments with technical issues as needed.

Provide input for improvements in equipment performance and reliability.

Educational requirements

Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or Industrial Engineering (depending on field).

Experience requirements

2+ years of hands-on experience in a technical or maintenance role.

Additional requirements

Knowledge of safety practices and technical standards.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Experience with diagnostic tools and basic computer literacy
