Responsabilités

Our client, a leading packaging company with operations in liquid packaging, dry packaging, and logistics, is seeking a qualified Operations Officer. The company is incorporated in Spain with its main manufacturing facility in Istanbul, Turkey.

 Responsibilities:

 - Communicate with clients to explain product features, capabilities, and benefits.

- Install products in containers at client locations and oversee loading operations.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with client field teams to ensure positive feedback to their management.

- Stay in close contact with the Head Office (HO) technical team to remain updated on product improvements and installation guidelines.

- Provide feedback to HO on market and client needs.

- Coordinate with and support the local sales team.

Requirements:

 

- Field experience in the packaging industry.

- Proficiency in English and the local language.

- Ability to follow instructions with precision.

- Strong communication skills.

- Ability to build rapport with clients, persuade when needed, and resolve issues effectively.

- Willingness to travel on short notice, especially within West Africa.

- Must be available to travel and be flexible with travel arrangements.

 

Daily Tasks:

 

1. Container Preparation:

   - Sweep the container.

   - Ensure door bolts are silicon-covered.

   - Remove nails and sharp objects.

   - Cover uneven areas on walls and floor with tape.

   - Apply double-sided adhesive tape to inward dents on the front wall.

 

2. Steam Liner and Steam Bag Setup:

   - Unroll and suspend the Steam Liner using the provided straps.

   - Adhere the Steam Liner to the container's front wall to create steam circulation channels.

   - Unroll and position the Steam Bag, insert grids, and ensure proper folding and placement.

 

3. Belt Tying and Securing:

   - Thread lashing belts through pre-cut openings and secure them to lashing rings.

   - Ensure belts are taut but not excessively tight.

 

4. Final Adjustments:

   - Affix carton support rolls to steam channels.

   - Cover steam connectors with glass wool.

   - Use the carton box as a door protector and attach it to the door closing bars.

 

5. Documentation:

   - Complete and attach the provided Check List to the container door.

Rémunération et autres avantages

Training: 1 month of in Turkey 

Availability: Must be willing and able to travel 

Salary: Paid directly from training Turkey
