Responsabilités

  • Legal Strategy: Develop and implement the company’s legal strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives.
  • Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the legal team, providing guidance on legal matters and professional development.
  • Corporate Governance: Advise the Board of Directors and senior management on corporate governance issues, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Compliance: Oversee the company’s compliance program, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Implement and monitor compliance policies and procedures.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts and agreements, ensuring that the company’s interests are protected.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks, ensuring that the company is protected against potential legal issues. Develop risk management strategies and provide counsel on business decisions.
  • Litigation Management: Manage and oversee any litigation, disputes, or legal proceedings involving the company. Coordinate with external legal counsel as necessary.
  • Regulatory Affairs: Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company and ensure that the company remains in compliance.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Provide legal support and due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
  • Intellectual Property: Oversee the protection of the company’s intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
  • Policy Development: Develop and enforce company policies related to legal and regulatory matters.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present legal reports to the Board of Directors and executive team.
  • Exigences scolaires

    Bachelor degree in law school. Admission to the state bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

    Expérience requise

    4- 5 years in  management position.

    Experience in corporate law, compliance, and risk management is essential.
