Responsabilités

  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments to identify and address potential hazards and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
  • Manage the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near-misses, ensuring that root causes are identified, and corrective actions are implemented.
  • Maintain records and documentation related to HSE compliance, including reports, permits, and certifications.
  • Identify potential health, safety, and environmental risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to minimize hazards.
  • Lead emergency response planning, training, and drills to ensure readiness in case of incidents.
  • Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors to promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, and incorporate them into the organization's HSE programs.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to ensure understanding and adherence to HSE policies.
  • Lead and mentor the HSE team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and proactive safety management.
  • Communicate HSE performance, initiatives, and challenges to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into all aspects of operations.
  • Promote sustainability initiatives within the organization, including waste reduction, energy conservation, and resource management.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to air quality, water quality, waste management, and chemical handling.
  • Lead efforts to achieve and maintain environmental certifications, such as ISO 14001.

    • Exigences scolaires

    Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.

    Expérience requise

    3-5 years of experience in HSE management, 

    Exigences supplémentaires

  • In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
