Responsabilités

  • Design and develop chemical processes and systems for manufacturing operations.
  • Improve process efficiency and performance through modifications and optimizations.
  • Conduct simulations and modeling to analyze and optimize chemical processes.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to production teams.
  • Troubleshoot issues with chemical processes and equipment.
  • Identify root causes of process problems and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure all chemical processes comply with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures for chemical operations
  • Participate in safety audits and address any non-compliance issues.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, yield, and throughput.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for chemical processes.
  • Collaborate with R&D and quality teams to scale up new processes from the laboratory to production.
  • Collect and analyze process data to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation on process performance.
  • Work with the quality assurance team to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional projects related to process development and optimization.
  • Manage timelines, resources, and budgets for process improvement projects.
  • Ensure projects meet regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements.

    • Exigences scolaires

    Bachelor’s  in Chemical Engineering or related field.

    Expérience requise

     3-5 years of experience in chemical process engineering, ideally in a manufacturing .

    Exigences supplémentaires

  • Strong knowledge of chemical process design and optimization.
  • Experience with process safety management (PSM) and environmental regulations.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen, HYSYS, ChemCAD) is a plus..
