Responsabilités

  • Utilize GPS tracking systems and telematics to monitor the location, status, and movement of all fleet vehicles in real time.
  • Track vehicle usage patterns and driver behavior (e.g., speed, idle time, route deviations) to ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards.
  • Report any irregularities, delays, or safety concerns to the Fleet Manager or Operations team.
  • Collect data on vehicle performance, fuel usage, mileage, and maintenance needs.
  • Prepare regular reports on fleet efficiency, fuel consumption, and compliance with operational targets.
  • Analyze tracking data to identify areas for improveme
  • Assist in planning and optimizing routes for drivers to improve fuel efficiency, reduce travel time, and ensure timely deliveries or service completion.
  • Provide real-time route updates and alternative paths in case of traffic, weather disruptions, or other delays.
  • Serve as a point of contact for drivers, dispatching information and providing support related to routes, vehicle status, and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with drivers to ensure compliance with schedules and operational procedures.
  • Relay any alerts or updates regarding vehicle performance or route adjustments to drivers.

  • Monitor vehicle health indicators through the tracking system and alert the maintenance team to potential issues (e.g., engine problems, low tire pressure).
  • Ensure vehicles are scheduled for routine maintenance and repairs based on data from the tracking system.
  • Maintain up-to-date vehicle maintenance records and track the status of repairs.
  • Ensure that all fleet operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards.
  • Monitor driver compliance with company policies related to speed limits, hours of service, and safe driving practices.
  • Support incident investigations by providing tracking data and reports.
  • Track fuel consumption across the fleet and identify any discrepancies or inefficiencies.
  • Provide insights into fuel-saving strategies, including optimal driving practices and route planning.
  • Coordinate with drivers to ensure fuel cards and logs are properly maintained.
  • Oversee the use of fleet management software and tracking devices, ensuring they are functioning correctly and providing accurate data.
  • Troubleshoot any technical issues related to the tracking system and coordinate with IT or external vendors for repairs or updates.

    Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Transportation

    Expérience requise

    1-2 years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or vehicle tracking.

    Exigences supplémentaires

  • Experience using GPS tracking systems, telematics, and fleet management software.
  • Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance standards.
