Responsabilités

  • Prepare and file tax returns for federal, state, and local authorities (e.g., income tax, sales tax, VAT, GST, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, both domestic and international.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
  • Assist in tax planning activities to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Support the development of tax-efficient structures and strategies for the organization.
  • Provide guidance to other departments on tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
  • Assist with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities by preparing required documentation and responding to requests.
  • Analyze and interpret tax data to resolve audit issues and propose solutions.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax provisions and ensure accurate tax accounting in financial statements.
  • Reconcile tax accounts and manage deferred tax balances.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP tax accounting standards.
  • Conduct tax research to stay current with new tax laws, regulations, and court decisions.
  • Analyze tax data to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Provide tax analysis reports to senior management for decision-making.

    • Exigences scolaires

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.

    • Expérience requise

    2-3 years of experience in tax compliance, tax planning, or tax accounting.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
