Responsabilités

• Ensure the warehouse is well-organized, clean, and controlled to effectively support  production, internal, and external clients. 

• Receive physical materials into the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and best  practices for the safe storage and handling of goods while communicating a signed  delivery note to procurement and finance by email.  

• Ensure that all raw materials, packaging, and finished products are used and stored  properly to prevent any loss or damage. 

• Coordinate with the production team on raw material issuing for production and  receive finished goods using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method. 

• Implement and manage control measures to highlight, report, and resolve mistakes,  inaccuracies, or discrepancies. This includes maintaining warehouse processes for  physical and inventory reconciliation through scheduled audits. 

• Perform stock counts and periodic inventory audits, ensuring systematic verification of  weight and stock levels within the warehouse. 

• Ensure the timely delivery of goods according to the dispatch plan. 

• Oversee the loading of products for customers, ensuring that documents such as the  delivery note and tax receipt are verified, and that the physical stock quantity matches  what is being dispatched.• Issue order forms in the SAP system for the supply of products, ensuring the  appropriate authorizations are in place. 

• Implement best practices for the safe storage and handling of goods, ensuring  compliance with SIKA safety standards and procedures. 

• Ensure adherence to all procedures applicable to the warehouse as per SIKA standards,  including health, safety, and environmental regulations. 

• Keep R&D informed of goods received in the warehouse for quality control purposes. • Ensure expired stock communicated to relevant internal stockholders and quarantined in a designated area for easy access and to facilitate disposal or resale. 

• Provide the Procurement and inventory team with physical stock levels every Thursday. • Ensure that IBCs (Intermediate Bulk Containers) are cleaned and available, and  maintain in/out reports for IBCs. 

• Communicate regularly with the relevant teams regarding the recycling and proper  disposal of items such as drums, pallets, and sand, ensuring that these materials are  handled in accordance with environmental standards. 

• Uphold safety protocols in all warehouse operations, ensuring a safe working  environment and minimizing environmental impact through proper waste handling and  material storage. 

Exigences scolaires

• Advanced Diploma in procurement

Expérience requise

• 1- 2 years of experience in warehousing role.

Exigences supplémentaires

• Organizing skills 

• Attention to detail 

• Excellent communication Skills in Swahili and English 

• Accuracy in the numerical abilities• Must understand basics of accounting and warehousing. 

• ERP experience if possible.
