Responsabilités

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings,interviewing, and onboarding.

• Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances. Implement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture and resolve conflicts effectively.

•  Oversee the performance appraisal system. Work with department heads to set performance metrics and ensure regular, constructive feedback.

•  Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and career development. Coordinate professional development

opportunities and workshops.

•  Develop and manage a competitive compensation and benefits program. Ensure compliance with local labour laws and company policies. Manage process of payroll preparation and sign off.

• Work together with the Regional HR Team to develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures. Ensure all policies are communicated effectively to staff members.

• Prepare monthly HR reporting on key performance indicators through various reporting tools and software packages

• Oversee the daily administrative operations, including office supplies, facilities management, and maintenance. Ensure a safe and productive work environment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Ensure that all administrative documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.

•  Ensure that the company complies with all relevant local, national and international regulations. Keep abreast of changes in legislation affecting the business. Support the country manager in legal affairs and representation of the company

• Support the country manager in building and maintaining positive government relations with both local and national government bodies and representatives

• Assist in the preparation and management of the HR and administrative budget. Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Exigences scolaires

Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business  Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.

Expérience requise

5 -6 years of experience in HR and administrative roles,preferably within the forestry, agriculture or manufacturing industries.

Exigences supplémentaires

• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Tanzania's labour laws and regulations. Familiarity with HR best practices and administrative procedures.

 

• Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office
