Responsabilités
Assess the technical feasibility of the project.
• Optimize the direct and indirect costs of the project.
• Establish a projected budget for the project.
• Define the operating procedures: production process, the establishment of work and
supply execution schedules, load plans, and phasing of interventions.
• Offer propositions to the Directorate on the selection of contractors, subcontractors, and
material procurement.
B. FOLLOW-UP OF THE REALIZATION OPERATIONS
• Set the objectives of the teams under your responsibility
• Identify key recruitment needs to increase productivity and ensure cost-effective
operations (cost compliance, quality, and deadlines)
• Ensure availability of resources: budget development, team allocation, equipment
investments, etc.
• Monitor work and support the drilling and handling teams in mines by managing the
execution of the work, providing solutions to the malfunctions found at all sites• Report any disputes related to the mining contract or any other disputes that may disrupt
operations.
• Monitor project performance indicators; budget control, resource management, and
deadline compliance.
• Ensure the application of contractual and regulatory standards, in particular with regard to
quality, safety, hygiene, and environmental impact.
• Ensure acceptance of work
• Control, direct, plan, and coordinate mining production activities at various stages from
design to feasibility studies to processing of the finished product.
• Conduct preliminary studies on ore and gold mining deposits.
• Choose safe and effective methods for gold mining.
• Develop and experiment with computer applications to model, map, and monitor mine
conditions.
• Plan, organize, and supervise mine development, operations, and maintenance.
• Develop estimates, schedules, and reports.
C. MANAGEMENT
• Monitor activity indicators for all work under your responsibility: volume of work, staff
load plans, and the monitoring of expenses.
• Carry out activity reporting and ensure all performance indicators objectives are met.
• Supervise teams and participate in the development of human resources in its field of
activity: recruitment of qualified technicians, training, and operational management in
collaboration with the Human Resources Department (leave, absences...).
• Supervise and coordinate the work of surveying technicians, technologists, and staff.
Exigences scolaires
Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in mining or any equivalent diploma.
Expérience requise
Have at least 05 years of professional experience in the conduct, steering, and management
of multi-technical projects in the field of mining and more specifically gold drilling ,
extraction of gold ores, processing of gold ores etc...
Exigences supplémentaires
Mastery of technical knowledge related to your field of specialization (design, assembly,
start-up of projects)
• Strong skills in mining engineering and project management.
• Able to exercise transversal management on the different teams under your responsibility
and interact with all stakeholders to carry out the project.
• In-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment related to changing standards
(safety, hygiene, health...).
• Guarantee the respect of the budget, delivery deadlines, and quality of the works to be
executed.
• Leadership to represent the General Management and unite the teams present on the
mining sites to achieve the expected objectives (Qualitative, Quantitative, Delivery Time)
• Agility, diplomacy, adaptability, and political acumen to be able to manage high-level
relationships
• Responsiveness and resistance to pressure to adapt to the hazards of activities and make
decisions quickly
• High level of rigor and strong organizational capacity to ensure that projects are monitored
and delivered on time and at cost.
