Responsabilités
Job Purpose/Summary
The
Facilities Engineer (Chemical/Process) leads facilities small to medium
projects for the Company from definition phase through start-up and handover to
Operation. He manages on ad hoc basis various deliverables of the project such
as AFE justification, design, engineering, and construction contracts. He has a
leadership role in overseeing contract execution activities during fabrication,
construction or installation and commissioning phases of the project.
Main Mission/Result Area
PRIMARY
ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Carry
out process engineering design, sizing and flow schemes calculations on piping,
pipelines, vessels, valves, and other equipment on minor projects on the
facilities offshore.
· Carry
out feasibility studies, concept selection, detail design on upgrade projects.
· Deliver
projects safely, on time, within budget and according to the company policy and
specifications.
· Perform
the role of contract holder or company representative for associated contracts
and coordinate delivery of technical support during construction.
· Maintain
efficient interfaces with the operations department.
· Ensure
that own actions plus those of contractors are conducted in accordance with the
company’s HSE management system.
· The
service is required to support the following critical projects:
o
Detail engineering design, construction, installation
and commissioning of minor upgrade projects and other projects for asset
integrity and process safety.
o
Support the close out of inspection/audit action items
as per the reports of the pipeline inspection and other audit actions.
o
Support the preparation and planning of the shutdown
planned for 2024 and document processes and procedures.
o
Carry out assessment of critical valves and plan
replacement of defective valves that constitute process safety risks in the
entire MA field.
o
Support corrosion mitigation on the assets offshore.
o
Support the pipeline inspection and integrity
management.
HSSE Accountabilities
· Select
and design safe engineering processes for the facility.
· Participate
in all HSSE intervention schemes (APIPP, Incident reporting, site visits) and
awareness sessions (HSSE Meetings, events, and trainings) to maintain and
improve Company HSSE culture and performance.
· Understand
the emergency procedure and the related requirements.
· Lead
as a role model to improve HSSE engagement within direct team, section, and
department.
The
incumbent may perform other related duties as assigned.
Key
Challenges
· Meet
all HSE, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
· Utilize
resources from both within and outside own department.
· Lead
a project team comprising both full and part time dedicated staff.
· Coordinate
project development and execution in a brown field environment.
Exigences scolaires
· B.Sc.
degree Engineering or equivalent in relevant discipline (Process, Chemical,
Mechanical, Petroleum)
Expérience requise
· 3-5
years in the industry, preferably oil and gas related experience
Exigences supplémentaires
· Ability
to use Aspen Tech HYSYS process simulator.
· Familiar
with process safety management
· Knowledge
in equipment selection and sizing
· Awareness
in other relevant engineering disciplines 2
· Motivated
individual who possesses good communication skills, leadership abilities with a
can-do attitude.
· Able
to work in a very diverse multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment.
