Responsibilities

✅Process strategic plans to ensure that products are exported/transported under safe and proper conditions and by the best mode of transportation to the point of destination and on time.

✅Shall provide comprehensive delivery plan with ETDs/ETAs of raw materials form the Hub/Port to the manufacturing plant/Magazine/Warehouse.

✅Shall provide to Management a comprehensive monthly report on exports/movement done during the month and tracking of transport cost and related demurrages.

✅Liaise with inspection agencies such as DGMG & Customs to inspect goods to be exported (if required) and oversee the preparation and receipt of all documentation for inspection and export/movement of products.

✅Keep an up-to-date file on all exports, pending exports, records of clients, imports and prompt Management on pending or delayed exports/imports.

✅Serve as a middleman between Management and clients in tracking down the geographical location of the products and by so doing establish a firmer customer support.

✅Shall coordinate the various permit process: import permit, transit permit, delivery permit, police permits, etc.

✅Shall conduct periodic checkpoint audit on carriers and provide management with such reports

✅Shall coordinate all imports, clearing and permits processes to avoid additional cost to the company

✅Liaise with the Finance Department to ensure that all monies required for the payment of import duties to Customs.

✅Shall ensure that all documents required for the export/import of goods are processed and received on time and ensure a timely delivery of goods to specified sites.

Educational requirements

🏅BSc. Procurement and Supply Chain Management (Bac+3)

🏅Professional Certification will be an advantage

Experience requirements

🏅Minimum of 5 years working experience in transport and logistics, and inventory control or in mining sector will be an advantage

Additional requirements

🏅Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office and ERP transactional such as SAP/Oracle.

🏅Experience with a TMS is an upside.

🏅Fluent in English
