Responsibilities

 Workshop Operations Management:

Supervise and coordinate all activities within the workshop, including maintenance, repair, and servicing of vehicles and equipment.

Develop and implement efficient workflow processes to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.

 Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Lead and motivate a team of technicians, mechanics, and support staff.

Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and accountability.

Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality in all repairs and maintenance activities. 

Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that work meets company standards and customer expectations.

Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Manage workshop inventory, including spare parts, tools, and equipment, to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize wastage. 

Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to procure necessary parts and supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Optimize resource allocation and utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and provide timely updates on repair and maintenance progress.

Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner. 


Educational requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or a related field

Experience requirements

3-5  years of experience

Additional requirements

 Strong technical knowledge of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, including Hyundai Excavators, MAN Trucks, FOTON Trucks, Randon Trailers, and Powertrac Tractors. 

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

Solid understanding of workshop operations, including workflow management, resource allocation, and inventory control. 

Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving results and driving continuous improvement. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
