Responsibilities

Our client, a major company specialized in Mining Extraction, is seeking a Construction Engineer to accompany the strong development of its activities in Cameroon -

Job Purpose/Summary

Responsible for delivering the construction of the MSI, Hauling Road, IRF, and other infrastructure projects in line with company requirements, on time and within budget.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

-       Oversee and validate field surveys (topography, geotechnical, and hydrology) for all infrastructure components.

-       Support the preparation of scopes of work, tendering processes, contractor selection, and contract finalization.

-       Supervise the construction of MSI, Hauling Road, IRF, and related infrastructure, ensuring compliance with budget and schedule.

-       Coordinate with stakeholders, including local authorities, communities, and regulatory bodies.

-       Ensure alignment with ESIA consultants for infrastructure projects as per company requirements.

Educational requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering with 10–15 years of relevant experience

Experience requirements

-       Extensive Project Management level experience in major project development construction and execution in civil engineering.

-       Strong project management background in large-scale civil engineering projects (around 50 MUS$).

Additional requirements

-       Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and project delivery safely and effectively.

-       Practical, hands-on, and results-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-       Fluent in both French and English
