Responsibilities
Job Scope
● This position’s main objectives are to ensure a safe and efficient running of Gas production related
operations, which include subsurface, well performance, well interventions (workovers, slick/wireline), surface/process installations, equipment maintenance and integrity.
● This position demands a strong technical/project background, with at least 5 years of experience in varied Oil&Gas environments.
● The Project Manager is based in the office of Dar Es Salaam with a team of 2/3 engineers, and the
supply chain/logistics team.
● He/she needs a strong hands-on capacity to work in autonomy, travels to the Gas production fields on a frequent basis (expected 30% of the time).
Responsibilities
● Participate to delivering the company’s EHSS objectives
● Manage all current and future technical projects (engineering, economic calculations, tenders,
selection, implementation, commissioning, start-up)
● Manage integrity (including inspections, intelligent piggings, etc…)
● Ensure maximized wells/process/surface equipment availabilities
● Manage maintenance (preventive, curative)
● Support fields’ production and maintenance teams whenever required
● Coordinate with the supply chain
Educational requirements
● Must possess a tertiary education in Petroleum / Chemical Engineering/ Oil and Gas
Experience requirements
● Possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of working experience in the upstream oil & gas industry
Additional requirements
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Proficient with Office applications or related software.
● Possess willingness and ability to frequently work and travel to remote sites
