Responsibilities

PROCEDURES

·       Work with the management team to implement new or revise current procedures and processes in all operations.

·       Check on Administration and Working Procedures and ensure all are carried out as stated in the Company Manuals.

·       Analyze and implement process flow improvements, to include capabilities for growth.

·       Responsible for the daily operations of the company and all its departments.

·       Ensure compliance with local, company, and client policies and regulations.

·       Maintain and improve process efficiency and quality standards adherence.

·       Recommend optimal production solutions and equipment needs.

·       Suggest and contribute to the employment, deployment, and training of staff.

·       Determine the optimum staffing model for the departments under his responsibilities.

·       Actively participate in entertaining our customers at units by preparing activities and events.

·       Other duties as requested by the Area Manager.

 

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

·       Managers adhere to controlling procedures as outlined in company policy.

·       Follow the purchasing procedures strictly, including rules for way port purchasing.

·       Always act in the best interests of the company by minimizing costs and maximizing revenue within the bounds of the operations contracts and maintaining good service levels.

 

PUBLIC HEALTH & HYGIENE

·       Ensure that all staff under his responsibility work according to the standards set in the Company and Statutory HSE Standards.

Educational requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistics Management/Business Administration

Experience requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role in the transport industry.

Additional requirements

·       Strong interpersonal and management skills, attention to objectives.

·       Competent in handling sensitive and confidential information.

·       Advanced Excel, Power BI, or Tableau

·       Bilingual in English/French
