Responsabilités

Accountable for ensuring accurate financial accounting & reporting of the financial progress of the company, investigating variances, and post expenses, and ensuring that various billings are done on a timely basis.

• Preparing financial analyses and reports.

• Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditures.

• Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.

• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheets and general ledger accounts.

• Assisting with annual audit preparations.

• Coordinating accounting functions and programs.

• Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of noncompliance.

• Preparing and filing all taxes.

• Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.

• Responsible for guiding management in decision making by following the local legal tax framework in Tanzania and the Companies Act 2002 & subsequent Finance Acts legislations • Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned

Exigences scolaires

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. • 

• CPA (T) is a must

Expérience requise

• 6+ years of PQE.

 • Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager

Exigences supplémentaires

• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
