Responsabilités

ü  Oversee the entire construction project, ensuring it is completed within the specified timeframe and budget.

ü  Determine and define scope of work and deliverables

ü  Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts

ü  Determine resources needed to complete project

ü  Manage construction schedule and activities

ü  Select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships

ü  Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines

ü  Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.

ü  Manage project resources efficiently, including labor, materials, and equipment.

ü  Implement and enforce safety regulations on the construction site.

ü  Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

ü  Monitor and control project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts.

ü  Collaborate with government authorities, local communities, and other relevant stakeholders.

ü  Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and quality standards

ü  Resolve any disputes or issues that may arise during the construction process.

ü  Supervise and lead a multidisciplinary project team.

Exigences scolaires

·         Master’s Degree in Construction Management or equivalent Master’s Degree in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or Civil/Structural Engineering.

·         Registration as a professional by the relevant Board.

·         Engineering practicing license (mandatory for Civil Engineers).

Expérience requise

·         Minimum of 15 years of general experience in the supervision of  construction projects.

·         Minimum of 15 years of specific experience on projects of similar nature and scope.

    Experience in a similar capacity in the construction supervision of three (3) projects of similar magnitude and complexity in the last fifteen (15) years.

Skills:

·         Excellent communication and interpretation skills.

·         Strong leadership and management skills

·         High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions

·         Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs

·         Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings

·         Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Package Software, including Microsoft Project.
